Free Meal on Shift
All Brendoncare colleagues are entitled to a Free Meal if they work a shift – either days or nights, bank or full-time – in one of our homes.

We encourage all colleagues to apply for a Blue Light Card, the discount card for NHS and Adult Social Care Workers. Brendoncare will reimburse the cost of £4.99 for two years. Through the card, you can get money off a range of items and services such as your weekly shop, booking holidays or buying car insurance.
Eye Care
Brendoncare contributes £25 towards eye tests for everyone. You can also claim £50 towards the cost of your glasses if your role involves you using a screen regularly.

Hybrid Working (where applicable)
We operate on a hybrid working model. Through it, our Central Office colleagues work in the office or one of our Homes at least two days per week.

Working in Care
New to Care
You will be surprised how much experience you have that will transfer brilliantly into a care environment. If you naturally care about older people, can communicate well and are an empathetic and compassionate person, we can and will teach you everything else you need to be a fantastic care assistant.

Your knowledge, judgement and expertise are essential to us, and we will entrust you to use these to provide the best quality care for our residents.
Enhanced pay rates are available for those holding an NVQ2 qualification. For those with an NVQ3 qualification, the opportunity to progress to Senior Care Assistant at a further enhanced hourly rate is available.
