Our care home features spacious, comfortable bedrooms for 44 residents, divided into three households, which creates the atmosphere of living in a small family group.
All bedrooms have a 24-hour call system, giving peace of mind, day or night.
Accessible bathrooms and wheelchair-accessible shower rooms are located near every room.
Residents are welcome to bring their own personal belongings, such as photographs and pictures, to make their room feel more familiar and homely.
We provide nursing, dementia, respite, and end-of-life care at Froxfield.
Residents receive personalised care tailored to their individual needs, delivered by our experienced nurses and carers who are available 24 hours a day.
Our nursing care providers offer support to individuals requiring regular nursing care due to complex physical illnesses or medical conditions.

Our communal lounge is the hub for numerous activities. The facility also features several lounge areas, a dining area, and a hairdressing salon.
Our conservatory is a popular place to soak up the sunshine, and residents can find a peaceful part of the garden in which to relax.
Our large garden also features a pergola, dementia-friendly sensory garden, potting shed, and patio spaces.
Food and drink are an integral part of our residents’ daily lives. Our catering team work closely with residents to accommodate any specific preferences and dislikes, dietary and allergy requirements, or cultural/spiritual needs.
The varied menus always include healthy, wholesome, appetising food, with snacks and drinks available anytime.
Residents can also entertain their family and friends in the dining area.
Our wellbeing coordinators focus on supporting the quality of life for each resident. They organise a varied range of activities, including music and movement, seated exercises, painting, gardening, visits from entertainers, and trips to nearby attractions in Marlborough, Hungerford, and beyond.
They also arrange activities to celebrate special occasions, including birthdays, Mother’s Day, Easter, and Christmas.
Resident Rabbit Rolo is always on hand to provide smiles and soft snuggles.
Meet the Manager
Maria Wegner
I am a registered nurse who trained at the medical academy in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Upon completing my training, I worked on a hospital ward, followed by a doctor’s surgery, before returning to the hospital to work on the neurological ward. I moved to the UK in 2007 and joined the care team at a nursing home, then worked as a support worker for people with learning disabilities. I started working as a nurse in a nursing home in 2010.
In 2012, I joined Brendoncare Froxfield as a registered nurse, later becoming its Deputy Manager, then its Registered Manager in 2019.
