Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill awarded ‘Good’ ratings from CQC
We are proud to announce that the CQC (Care Quality Commission) has awarded Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill ‘Good’ ratings for both its care home and home care services.
In its reports, the CQC highlights the high standards across all the areas it inspected. It recognises the quality of care provided at Otterbourne Hill and the home care services delivered at Otterbourne Mews.
Opened in 2018, Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill was one of the UK’s first care developments to offer three integrated care services on the same site.
Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill provides high quality nursing, dementia, respite and end of life care. With 64 en suite rooms arranged into smaller households, the home provides a warm, family like atmosphere where independence, choice and connection are at the heart of daily life.
Otterbourne Mews comprises 20 purpose-built apartments for rent by individuals and couples living with dementia, where care is available 24/7 from the care home’s team. The third service is its dementia-friendly community hub for residents and people living in the local area.
Charlotte Chiutare, Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill’s General Manager says:
“I’m so proud of all the team. The reports for both services demonstrate and echo the hard work, dedication and care that goes in to everything they do on a daily basis, which makes such a difference to so many people’s lives.
“I am extremely grateful to our residents and relatives for their continued support and trust in us.”
Penny Lamb, Brendoncare’s Director of Operations, added:
“These ‘Good’ ratings really reinforce Brendoncare’s long standing reputation for excellence and its ongoing commitment to delivering the very best standards of care for older people across all its services.”
All of Brendoncare’s seven care homes across the south of England have achieved a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC.
